On June 5th, Our Founders rescued this beautiful Frenchie Pit Puppy! His name is Ekeziel "Zeke". He was only 8 weeks old. After a few short days and the demands of our staff, Ezekiel Moreland became the official FJWL Mascot! He has been riding around with Dad while he runs errands. He attends meetings with Mom while she's answering questions for staff and even helps with interviews.

Our founders dreamt and even dared to believe they could impact the world! When they founded From Jersey with Love, they believed so much could be actualized in the lives of the people they touched. From their own experiences to the chaos from natural and man-made disaters, the founders were sparked with determination, courage and boldness.
The founders, Curtis Moreland and Quadai Palmer, were heartbroken by the country’s response to the disaster-stricken communities in the US Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. Via social media, they connected with a pilot making deliveries to the islands providing food, clothing, and helping rebuild the infrastructure. They made the donation and signed it, “From Jersey with Love.” The name stuck. From Jersey with Love (FJWL) has since placed focus on their local community of the Greater Asbury Park (GAP) Area. Curtis and Quadai have lived in the GAP area their whole lives. They grew up watching their families support their community through work, church, and social engagement. Being members of dedicated families, they were always aware of the needs in their community. After years working in the community in entertainment and education respectively, Curtis and Quadai decided to be the change they wanted to see. |
